you are welcome here

Visiting a church for the first time can be tough. Whether you've been going to church for years, or if it's your very first time, you may have some questions.

Where do I park?  •  What do I wear?  •  How long is the service?

Where do my kids go?  •  Where do I sit?  •  Will I be singled out?

We want you to have an idea of what to expect when you arrive at Thrive Church. You can find some answers below, and if you don't find what you're looking for let us know and we will try to answer your question.

  • The first thing you'll notice is that we meet in an elementary school, not your normal church building, but we love it here. Click here for directions
  • There is plenty of parking on the North and East side of the school.
  • The entrance to the Worship Center and Kid's classes is located along the driveway next to Loraine Ave. You will be greeted by a someone wearing a Thrive Church name tag. (feel free to ask them for directions)
  • We have a refreshment table where you can grab a cup of coffee.
  • As you walk into the church our greeting team will help you find a seat. (Scroll down to find out where kids go)

  • Don't feel like you have to dress up.
  • Most people wear casual attire, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.

We offer children's church for children from birth - 6th grade. Safety and security are a priority for us, so all our teachers and volunteers are background checked. We also use an electronic check-in system that ensures that only authorized individuals can pick kids up from the classroom.

You can find the Check In Station just past the refreshment table on the right. Your kids can be dropped off at the gate just past the station on the right. At this point, one of our volunteers will escort your child safely to their appropriate classroom.

  • Tots: Infants and toddlers
  • Juniors: Pre-School - Kindergarten
  • Kids: 1st - 3rd Grade
  • J12: 4th - 5th Grade

  • Our service lasts 1 1/2 hours (10:30 - 12:00)
  • We start by singing 3 - 4 songs. The words are displayed on the screen.
  • We take a couple of minutes after singing to say hi to each other. We are a friendly bunch, so don't be surprised if a few people say hello to you.
  • Someone will get up and talk about upcoming events and will pray for the tithes and offering.
  • Our Pastor will then share a biblically based sermon.
  • We close the service by singing one more song.
  • The band will dismiss the congregation and close the service.
  • First time? Be sure to stop by the Hub at the back of the auditorium on your way out! We have a gift for you!
